Acrylic Painting Age 9+ 3:45PM Tuesday

In this class, artists get to make their acrylic master pieces on canvas, and other relevant mediums. We will work in the style categories of realism, impressionism, and some contemporary art. Artists will learn brush stroke techniques, perspective, focal point, shading, and how highlight and add shadows with greater accuracy. We will have some pre-planned projects, as well as projects the class can choose from. Artists learn the most when they are working on projects that light up their brains, and when they are feeling excited and inspired. 

This is an Intermediate Level class. Artists must have experience working with acrylic paint and canvas. We will not repeat artwork from previous semesters, this will be new material.

Skill building: Fine motor, problem solving, team work, divergent thinking.
