Jewelry Design Age 8-12 4PM Wednesday

In this art class you will master the art of jewelry design and sculpture! We will start with the basics then move on to more advanced beading and wire working techniques. This design class teaches different patterns, stringing beads, and wire transitions. We will discuss the importance of color, balance, volume, emphasis, line and texture and what roles they play when creating jewelry and wire sculpture pieces.  

This class adds a $35 materials fee, due to the added cost of working with expensive art materials.

• Skill building: An eye for detail, arm and hand steadiness and control, plus finger dexterity, 3-D visualization skills, Interpersonal skills, artistic ability and a knowledge of popular jewelry styles.
