Abstract & Mixed Media Age 6-9 3:30pm Monday

In this awesome abstract & mixed media class we will explore a variety of approaches and mark-making techniques with an emphasis on discovering your own voice as an artist. The instructor will demonstrate multiple ways to create art spontaneously! We will also learn about multiple abstract painters that will inspire and help you to understand some of the concepts behind non-representational art (creating without recognizable imagery). It is encouraged that you try new things as a way to experience breakthroughs and we encourage you to take risks and have fun doing it! Class will include fun paint projects, cool crafting and building awesome works of art. We will use acrylic paint, wood, canvas, glue, clay and more! This is a 10 week program. Don't forget to dress for MESS!!!
